"My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”
- Exodus 33:14

This Month of October is the month of "His Presence".

There are seasons in life when we know where we are going, but we do not know what the journey will look like. We may have plans, dreams, responsibilities, and promises from God, yet the uncertainty of tomorrow can make our hearts anxious. In such moments, God reminds us of something greater than a promise of what He will do—He promises **His Presence**.

When Moses was facing the responsibility of leading God’s people forward, his greatest concern was not simply reaching the destination. He wanted to know that God Himself would go with them. God answered, **“My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”**

This is the promise we carry into October

God's Presence means we do not have to walk into the future alone. When the road is unfamiliar, He is with us. When the decision is difficult, He is with us. When the burden feels heavy, He is with us. When we cannot see what lies ahead, His Presence remains our assurance

Notice that God did not merely promise to show Moses the way—He promised to **go with him**. There is a difference between receiving directions from God and walking with God. We often ask, “Lord, show me what to do,” but sometimes God's greatest answer is, **“I will be with you

And then comes another beautiful promise: **“I will give you rest

Biblical rest is not necessarily the absence of responsibility, problems, or challenges. It is the confidence that we are not carrying them alone. God's Presence brings peace into places where circumstances may still be changing. His Presence gives strength when our own strength is running low

This October, may we learn to seek **His Presence above His presents**, His companionship above His blessings, and His nearness above our own understanding.

We may not know everything this month will bring. But we can know Who will be with us

His Presence will go before us.

His Presence will walk with us

His Presence will strengthen us

His Presence will give us rest

So, as we step into this new month, let this be our declaration.

**“Lord, I don't want to walk ahead without You. Go with me, lead me, guide me, and let Your Presence be my confidence. Whatever October brings, I know I will not walk alone.”*
